Eclipse is a melding of 5 seasoned musicians.  All have had successful careers in other bands, including Vengeance, Touch 2 Much, Soul'd Out, New Day Nation, and Rokus, and are well on their way to becoming a MetroWest favorite. Eclipse's versatility can be heard playing Matchbox 20, Stone Temple Pilots, a dash of Kiss, and much in between. They have a broad selection of originals that go over with any crowd, and sprinkle them between danceable current tunes and rocking classics from the '70s, '80s, '90s and today's current hits that are immediately recognizable, flawlessly executed, and eagerly received.

Let's meet the band, shall we?

Vocals/Guitar/Keyboard - Peter Zicko
Peter was born in Natick, MA. He started playing guitar and singing in bands when he was fifteen. Peter studied voice in the late '80's under renowned vocal instructor Dante Pavone, who taught such singers as Ella Fitzgerald, Patti LaBelle, Steven Tyler and Peter Wolf. Throughout the '80's and '90's Peter played with bands such as Gravety, Cube, New Day Nation and Z Company. In the mid- 2000's he traveled with Boston-based band Girl On Top for over 3 years, singing and playing bass. He also had the opportunity to sing backup with world-famous band New England at their 2006 and 2013 reunions.

Peter has worked with Emmy-award winning producer/singer/songwriter John Fannon, recently producing a ten song original CD (Z Company). He is currently in studio working on a second.

Peter's original music can be found here on iTunes

Vocals - Robyn Spinazola
Robyn was born, raised and still resides in Natick. She started her vocal training by singing with the choirs at St. Patrick's and St. Linus Churches in Natick since 1989. She has traveled to Rome in 1990 with the choir to perform for the Pope. During the 90's, Robyn would often join Jon Z. Bowser on stage at local legends - Ebenezer's and Liam's for his performances. Before joining Eclipse for the last few years for an occasional performance, Robyn has sang with both Rockus and 24K in the Metrowest area. Her vocal influences include Stevie Nicks and Janis Joplin amongst others. Robyn still continues to sing today with the local church choir, as well as singing with her 2 sons in "Sound and Spirit" which is a multi-generation choir based in Natick
Lead Guitar/Background Vocals - Glenn Gerhardt
Born in Boston and raised in Acton, MA, Glenn first picked up the guitar at age 11 soon after having seen the Beatles' movie Help! on television. Glenn has a love of music from the late 1960's, but has a music collection spanning from 1930's blues to today's contemporary rock. Glenn has studied at the National Guitar Workshop in Austin, TX and Nashville, TN which has given him the chance to learn from Eric Johnson, David Grissom and Robben Ford. Glenn has recorded original material and performed with the Dirty Dog House, Delta Bottom Blues Band and Mill River Mansion. He has also performed with The Rattlers and Soul'd Out. Glenn cites his current inspiration as Warren Haynes who he always catches live when in town.  Glenn currently splits his time playing with both Eclipse and Gov't Surplus.
Drums - Tommy Spencer
Tommy, a Natick, MA resident, has been playing drums ever since he drove his parents crazy banging on pots and pans. He played in the band “Vengeance” in the early 80’s playing covers all around the Metro-Boston area. Tommy also played with Diamond Ice, playing all original songs with the occasional cover songs mixed in. Diamond Ice played the Boston club circuit during the Extreme/Bang/Mass Boston music explosion. Tommy took a brief hiatus from playing (aside from the occasional fill-in with various bands), but was ready to hit the ground running when he joined Eclipse. His influences include Joey Kramer (Aerosmith), Shannon Larkin (Ugly Kid Joe/Godsmack), Brian Downey (Thin Lizzy) and Nicko McBrian (Iron Maiden). Tommy is a fireman by day, and continues to keep the tempo rockin’ at night, even if he does play backwards…
Bass - Chris Kianka
Chris was born in Zimbabwe to a famous Flamenco dancer and a janitor - ok, no he wasn’t. Chris was born in London, an Air Force brat (so moved around a lot as a kid) on the same day that Jim Morrison and Grace Slick had sex in Copenhagen, Milan Kundera fled Prague and Mickey Mantle nailed his 535th homerun. He loves shoes, soup and short, fast walks through rough neighborhoods wearing nothing but pork chops and fine lace. Bands he'll admit to having been in -- High Voltage, Snatch/NastyFoot, Mad Pedestrian, Unnamed, Money$hot, Touch2Much, Dirty Mouth, Eclipse. We’re sure the ones he won’t admit to would make great fodder for the rest of the band, but we will probably never know… Chris’ heroes are Jack Bruce, Dmitri Shostakovich, Frank Zappa, Charles Mingus and Cliff Burton. In his spare time he paints houses, pays bills and dreams about being a quantum physicist.
